I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that 2017 has been a year of change, good and bad. I spent the first half of this year making a plan and in the second half of the year, I’m putting my plans into action to contribute to a better future. This blog is my dream. My ultimate goal in life, as is for many others, is to make a positive impact in the world. I admit it is a really large goal to have but dreaming big and aiming for something outside of what you think you can do unlocks your ultimate potential and the ability to make grand things happen.
I do believe in the idea of just going for it – but it’s beyond important to plan properly when you have a vision. Doing research and making a personal plan to fulfill your dreams before making the big leap is important to make sure your idea succeeds. It’s like putting on a parachute before jumping out of a plane instead of just jumping out of the plane or being too afraid to make the leap in the first place.
The first step in any sort of shift in your life is to make the decision of what exactly you want to do in your life to change the world. Nobody else is going to make this decision for you. What do you want to get serious about? What are you passionate about? Is there
something really wrong with the world that you want to change? Making this decision, the decision of what to focus on is the stage of planting the seed and is the beginning stage of manifesting your ideas for the world into reality. Making ideas come to life is exactly like growing a plant from the seed. Many people when they hear or even talk about manifesting they think that it just means one day… POOF! Your dreams have been realized and the universe made it happen! If only it were this simple, everyone would be living their dreams. Without even planting the seed, without tending to the sprout, and without waiting for the plant to bloom you cannot in the end harvest any fruit. Changing and making your life what you want it to be and creating something amazing takes effort every single day. If you want something to happen you need to make it happen.
All of the world’s greatest ideas started with a single person’s idea. This includes yours.
The hardest part of bringing any idea to life is getting started. Once you know what you want to do, what’s the next step? As mentioned earlier, planning on how to achieve an idea is necessary for that idea to actually succeed. In many cases, the first step is figuring out the requirements for what you want to do. Do you need to go to school or learn a skill? Do you need money to create your idea? If the answer is yes, this is your first step. Many skills require schooling, training, or money to make it happen. For example; I needed 100 dollars to make this blog as well as spending a lot of time planning what I wanted to create with this blog and learning how to make it work. Maybe you want to create your own farm animal sanctuary. To do this, you’d first have to learn the legalities surrounding owning a property with a lot of animals, how to care for a large amount of animals, and lastly, you would need to figure out the cost behind it. This is something that’s daunting to attempt to figure out, but if you truly want to do something so grand, you can make it happen. You just need to put the effort and work into making it happen, the first step is learning how to do just that.
Once you’ve planted the seed, the rest is a natural flow of events. The main thing in the creating stage of making your dream a reality is to keep it consistent and passionate. With tending to the crop and watering it every day you will see a slow, steady growth and eventually fruit – the product of your labor. If at any time you give up, your dream that you’ve worked so hard on will die. To keep caring for your idea and making it happen you should do at least one thing every single day which is dedicated to helping your idea a reality, even if it is as small as writing one new idea to help your dream down that day.
Something that’s extremely important to realize is the studying and learning involved with creating something with your own two hands never stop. When you decide to put your life towards a cause it is bigger than you that means you’re never done learning or growing because people who can’t even change themselves absolutely cannot change the world.
